I saw it the other day too, and I gotta say it's a brilliant piece of work. My only compliant that the last third seemed a bit rushed compared to the slower first two hours, but maybe that'll fade when I see it again tomorrow. It's killing me that critics are starting to look it over (aside from the rightfully praised Day-Lewis), but I did hear one critic at a screening of ADAPTATION say he thought it was the best Scorsese film ever...so maybe it'll garner some support and go on to take the Oscars it deserves. They may be apples and oranges, but I gotta say GANGS and PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE are the best two films I've seen this year.
