it's rare to see a TPB that is really worth more than it was when you bought it.

The entire point of a TPB is to give you an affordable read. The comics contained therein are usually out of print, hard to find and at least a little more than cover price.

If you charge more for a TPB, even a first print, you're kind of violating the entire principle of the TPB which is an quality, affordable collection of comics.

But, hey, if someone wants to pay for it, I say let em pay.
