It's not, it was more like Kevin didn't like 'Magnolia' and a bunch of people on both sides started fighting it out in the name of both directors. It was more like a fan-feud.

What's the difference? One has the license to be mind-numbingly long and dull and steal from truly great movies that manage to be *both* artistic and entertaining and the others aren't?
Don't kid yourself, son. Saying that none of the Askew films are artistic works *is* an insult, especially on the man's own website.
