If you have not seen what this adapter can do, that's fine. You will soon enough. Until then, I am not arguing that there is a difference between miniDV and 35mm film, only that this adapter blurs the line between the two even more.
For budget minded filmmakers not associated with Kevin Smith, this is an alternative to bring your project to life. I won't inflate any more claims, however, as the proof is in the pudding.
