I wasn't saying that at all. YOU seemed to be making the point that becase PTA's movies are "artistic" and in your view, Kevin's are not, that he's somehow flawed in his opinion of MAGNOLIA. I was pointing out how absurd that line of thinking is. I think it's pretty clear in my post that I don't subscribe to that line of thinking, I was making fun of it.

If you were merely asking for Kevin's opinion, why write this: "sorry kevin, but there is a difference between artistic works (i.e. none of the askew films) and funny views on life (clerks, mallrats, etc.)"
You clearly had an agenda in your posting, and that was to bring up this whole MAGNOLIA thing again and to advance your view that Kevin is somehow not worthy of having the opinion of MAGNOLIA that he does. If this wasn't your agenda, you never would have written the above.
