it wasn't especially scary, and it had a Stephen King type ending (ie, crap), but I thought it was the best writing he's done in a very long time.
My least faves are 'The Tommyknockers' -- but I remember that there were at least 100-200 pages of it that were great, just that they were somewhere in the middle of an 800 page book --, 'Christine', 'The Dark Tower' book I (II & III are amazing, and IV isn't too bad but really hard to get started on). I wasn't too big on 'Insomnia' or 'Bag of Bones', but I wouldn't list them in this category.
Oh, but 'Gerald's Game' and 'Rose Madder' both popped into my head.
