A legendary cast of comic actors including Spinal Tap co-star Michael McKean, Fred Willard, Howard Hesseman, Henry Gibson, and of course Harry Shearer, portray the most powerful white men in America. Each summer they gather for a super-secret unwinding where they drink heavily, swear profusely, gamble naked in+the woods, urinate communally, perform secret rituals, hatch nefarious plots, sing badly and wear women's clothing. TEDDY BEAR'S PICNIC will also return for a limited theatrical run starting November 22nd, in the Screening Room.

@ 10:00 - Harry Shearer will introduce This Is Spinal Tap
Harry Shearer first came into the radar as the tin-foil enhanced bassist in Rob Reiner's classic THIS IS SPINAL TAP. This king of the mockumentaries follows the "legendary" metal band Spinal Tap as they recount their career and hit the road for yet another failed tour with yet another new doomed-to-die drummer. From undersized Stonehenge monuments, to amps that go to eleven, to a slew of amazing cameos, THIS IS SPINAL TAP is indeed a comedy legend!
(US, 1984) dir. Rob Reiner w/ Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, Rob Reiner, 82min
