That's why I like anti-heroes.

Road to Perdition is an amazing example... plus it furthers my chosen craft and example of comics and a form of valid and powerful literature.

The father in the story is a great father and a good man... who happens to be a hit man. Then he goes and gets revenge for his family... and pays for it...

So, you have to take good with bad there and learn to be the man he was without the vices he allowed himself.

It's tough to tell who the real role models are because to be human means to be flawed. Like I said, you have to decide which flaws are easiest to ignore.
