Off topic, yes, but I need some answers.
I have an old laptop that fucked up about six months after I put new RAM in it. I got a new computer (cheeeeap computer, like 500 bucks), and now it's getting slow and stupid.
I was wondering if I could take the RAM out of the laptop and put it in the desktop I have now. It seems kosher, but I seem to recall once hearing that laptop memory and desktop memory were different.
