: : When you are writing a script how do you know when it is long enough? Like how do you judge the amount of words or pages you have written to equal a certain amount of time? For example for a 90 minute movie how long would the script be?

: But a good general rule is that one page of script equals one minute of screen time. If a script reader is given something between 80 and 110 pages, they'll be happy - any more and it'll almost certainly go in the bin (unless you're established).

Thanks that advice is actually quite helpful, the course i have been doing has only been focussing on Short films and the ones i have been writing i think the longest was about 20 pages and the shortest was 3 and both went for just over 10 minutes.
