Silly Question re Jason Lee

Ok, I was bored on the long weekend and Heart Breakers was on. I watched it cause it seemed like a reasonable movie and wanted to see Jason Lee in it - boy was I mistaken!!!

Anyway, my question is this...

When watching a movie with Jason Lee in it (with the exception of Almost Famous), does anyone else get a "Brodie" feeling when he comes on screen?

And if so, do you think he's been typecast as Brodie or do you think he chooses his characters based on the fact that Brodie was so natural for him to play. Or, do you think I just need to up my dosage of medication?

Vanilla Sky, Heart Breakers, that one with Will Smith in it, even Dogma, I just got this "Hmm, you are so much like Brodie" feeling.

By the way, I already know that all his characters look similar! :cP
