Maybe a little long, but all of it necessary, especially when you get to book 4. All of the information she gives you has a purpose. Now if she'd only get book 5 out, I'm starting to get the shakes.
And, Herr Lynch, what is this about a Clive Barker/"Harry Potter"-esque novel? That sounds very promising.
