Addressed earlier on this board by me, but seeing as how I like to hear myself, I'll repeat.

Plotlines leave much to be desired. However, the dialogue written for Brodie Bruce was brilliant and really saves the film in moments that you just get bored by the rest of the humor. Also, Ethan Suplee did a very good job with his small role.

Mallrats gets written off too much becasue there is a lot of backlash against Jeremy London and Shannen Dougherty. However, If you were looking to adopt a favorite, recent fictional character, you'd have to give Brodie Bruce some consideration.

Other notables. Michael Rooker played a great role, and the soundtrack was the best of his films to date.
