And I think he mentions Jay and Silent Bob because the American public as a whole identifies more with those characters than Dante and Randall. Anyone who knows Clerks knows Dante and Randall talk about it, but not every one has seen clerks, but know about it and know who Jay and Silent Bob is. Its still funny that Lucas can pimp out J&SB and yet still manages lines like "You are in my very soul....tormenting me." But who cares, AOTC still kicks ass.
