Next time you're at a party, try it. Act sullen and introverted. Then start talking to someone. Explain parties make you a little anxious because of "what happened last year." If pressed for more, say a drunk chick approached you about giving her a ride home. Then say you refused. REALLY drag it out, give details, act like you're getting upset. Then say she died that night, and you blame yourself, because you pulled out a shotgun and blew her head off.
