I've been thinking that forever.

: Is anyone else really bothered by AMC's new format with TONS of commercial interruptions preceded by their "Who U like us now?" campaign?

: And what about their inclusion of such films as "Chain Reaction" and "RoboCop 3"? When did these movies become "classics"?

: My problem with all this is that I am reduced to watching TCM if I want to see a "classic". And I have never forgiven Ted Turner for colorizing "It's a Wonderful Life".

: Woe is me.

AMC has given up on the whole "classics" concept. I long for the days when I could put it on and be damned near certain it would be a movie I'd never seen or one that is truly a classic. Now they show anverything (any/everything).

Well, it was good to get that off my chest. And to give you are response not from TobybloE or churlish, who have been grating on everyone's nerves of late, I believe.
