Sad thing is, though, if a typical Eminem fan heard Mos Def, he'd probably turn it off because there isn't enough controversial shit in it.
I think the most insightful MC around right now is Common. Some of the stuff he's done has made me shit my pants, clean it up, then drop it on the way to the trash can because I was so floored. I'm glad Common's getting some play thanks to Brown Sugar, but I hear his new album blows, so who fucking knows.
