alright so MHL is a Malt Liquor I am pretty sure the rang is about 5.6 -5.8% as is the case of most Malt Liquors. The reason why they tend to be stronger than regular beer is the extra sugar placed in it during fermentation which means it has more sugar to turn into alcohol.

Bud on the other hand is around 5.3% and is one of the stronger American made beers. This is because of the mix of barley and hopes used in their beer.

Some specialty beers have more alcohol (ie. Guinness (9%), Skullspliter (11%), and some other beers, but most of them get the extra alcohol by the same process of adding sugar to the batch. This produces either a sweet taste (like Mikes) or in the case of Hefeweisen it gives it a more meaty taste. If you want to know what I mean, try any Dopplebock or Triplebock you can find and it will taste like a liquid steak!

Bud is one of the most difficult beers to make because so many things must be perfect inthe batch.

Wine gives you one of the quickest bangs for the buck mainly because the tannens make it possible for quick introduction to the bloodstream.

Hope that helped and enjoy you drink, just be responsible!
