That is why it wasn't front page news, and was a very short story. If it was front page news, THAT would not make sense, but they do you short fillers (they have to fill the space anyway, why not get a target) and do a quick story that will get people talking, just like we are now. That is from my experience in target marketing... either way the story is there, and false.
: work that way.....I think it is just sensationalism and lazy reporting on a slow news day, its easier to monger a rumor than come up with an actual news story....they wouldn't segment the market to target only va fans in the chicagoland region, that wouldn't be worth their time, the market of who your average VA fan is, versus that fan being in that location and prone to buying a paper....well, it just doesn't make marketing sense....but that is just from my limited background in target marketing....
