Wait . . . it's "fairly new" without an AGP slot?

Your computer's defective then. What's the make, model, processor, chipset (if you know), etc. I find it exceptionally hard to believe that any new computers would be built without an AGP slot (due to the fact that graphics cards are predominantly made for AGP). Your motherboard concern is unfounded: any motherboard from the past 3 years would probably be equipped with high enough memory and HD throughput. As for your card, GeForce 4 is pretty damn awesome but you could've waited a little longer and bought an ATI 9700, they provide even better performance for about the same price. It's all good, though. But really, respond to this or email me, I might be able to help.
