I think it went well (I laughed my ass off as usual). Sure, some of the more hardcore fans would've liked to hear about the comic, but instead of satisfying that, this interview achieved a different (and possibly larger) result. The exposure for comics in general was noteworthy, nevermind for this comic in particular. And yes, things sell for NUMEROUS reasons. I myself create a web of discovery based upon "referrals". This is a big world and I am only so creative...
As far as the summarizing problem you (and/or they) feel you have, life has a way of laughing at our expectations, but one thing I do know is that I will always have a good time "with" you. No worries, mon.
