...pretty much all of them have been actors. Robert De Niro, Anthony Hokins, Val Kilmer, Sylvester Stallone - all the greats. Maybe they don't show the episodes with the writers/musicians etc. in the UK, but I always thought it was just an in depth discussion between a well known actor and a guy with amusing facial hair.
And if it's a school for acting, writing and directing, then 'The Actor's Studio' should be shut down for having such a misleading title.
