I mean, there are some movies that shouldn't be longer than 90 minutes (like Moulin Rouge or ANY teen comedy) but then there are movies that NEED to be long (like Lord Of The Rings or JFK) and I totally respect that. Especially if they are period pieces. I'm the biggest fetishist (In a non-sexual way. Yes, I know that's an oxymoron, but I don't care. Sue me) for movies that take place in the past. An exception is Titanic. Seriously, the first 2 hours were so fucking useless ('cept for the "portrait" scene. It gave North American males their first look at Kate Winslet. And boy was it good)
