the problem is war is real/realistic. None of the movies can capture that. Steel Metal Jacket's first half is about as real as it gets, than the 2nd half is bullshit.
Saving Private Ryan was realistic, but of the war vets i've asked (father included, WWII vet) the movie doesn't even come close to capturing the essence of a war.
