Thin Red Line wasn't horrible but it wasn't phenominal either. Visually it was great, but it fell short delivering its message. Like every war movie thats come out in the last five years it's message is war is hell. But I lost the message in Thin Red Line around hour 2. Then I just came out of the moment and could only pick the movie apart from a film student's stand point. And that's never good.
