I was MORE impressed with Penn's performance as Sam than in Thin Red Line. Nothing against Sean in Red Line, which he did an awesome job in as well. The problem with Thin Red was consistancy. There were parts that had me convinced I was enjoying that movie more than anything that year, and parts that just seemed slapped together to me. Boy, that last sentence is gonna call on the slings and arrows... I had no idea we had such passionate "Penn-ites" on the WWWBoard...
