Thin Red line would have been better if they had cut a good hour or so out of the movie. I don't mind long movies, however I don't like a long movie when I can feel every last second tick by as I shift in my seat. Thin Red Line is simply a film students wet dream version of other war flicks. Very contrived, but visually pleasing.
