With all the bad comments coming on the board about Jersey Girl I just gotta say... I can't wait for it, myself. It seems like it's gonna be good. Who really knows? All I know is that Kevin is my favorite Writer period. And if Vincent likes it, I trust his oppinion too. I mean Vincent made one of my favorite Indie films "A Better Place"- if he thinks it's good as a PG-13 movie then I'll believe him. May I remind you people that if you guys were fans of Kevin then you'd watch the Clerks cartoon. That had no cussing at all, I believe. And That was one of the funniest cartoons out there on DVD.
Now as for J-Lo, I never really liked her as an actress and from what I have seen in Interviews and stuff she didn't seem all that interesting but if Kevin believes she's right for the part then far be it for me to go against him and cause an uprising. I mean he IS the DIRECTOR. I think he has full creative control. I look forward to seeing Jersey Girl just to see how well J-Lo acts in a K.S. movie. I think this movie might just be the thing that makes Critics actually enjoy her work... if they don't already. So with that in mind, I say we don't go on to a web board that's owned by someone you plan to bash just because you don't like his casting choice. If you want to be upset, then don't watch Jersey Girl. It's that simple. But I'd rather go to a movie I can watch with my friends and family then one I can only watch with certain friends. I say bravo, Kevin. Keep the movies coming and is everyone gonna panic if he puts Penellope Cruz in "Fletch Won"... crazier stuff has happened. Peace, Jon.
