JSBSB question

If this has been answered already, please forgive. I did check the summaries and even did a search of the boards with no luck. Now on to the question.

At the end of JSBSB, when Jay and Bob are on-stage, Kevin ends the film with a shot of our heroes. Something about this shot seems very familiar to me and I was wondering if it was an homage. Logically I would assume it might be a similar shot to the end of Purple Rain, but I don't have a copy so... Honestly, the shot reminded me of Rocky.

So, if any of you have already heard the answer to this question, please, do tell. If not, maybe one of the reds could answer.

BTW - I really love that shot. It really was perfect for the last Jay & Silent Bob movie. There was something very, dare I say it, sweet about it.
