: do smith and mosier co-own?

I know this one, 'cause I asked it a long time ago: Kevin's the one who owns the company.

: if kevin is the director, how does he own part of the PRODUCTION company?

See, I'd wondered that too, which was why I asked... and all Kevin said was that he owned it... so I'm guessing that it's just a simple matter of semantics. View Askew Productions is the COMPANY which produces the film, Mosier is the PERSON who does, and it doesn't really matter in the end. They could call the company View Askew Television Repair if they wanted to.

View Askew Productions is basically the corporate entity responsible for whatever Kevin Smith does. That's standard business practice: if he didn't separate his business and personal aspects, somebody who sued him for one could seize assets from the other. (I think that's also why each film technically has its own company set up for the sole purpose of owning that one film.) If Mosier were going to have an active non-Kevin-related career and run his own ship, he'd probably set up a separate company of his own.

: PS who picks the soundtrack/score of the movie

That, I couldn't tell you. I'd imagine Kevin has the main say, with input from Mosier and the executive producers (i.e. the Weinsteins). Just a guess.
