Or it will be a classic in the long-standing but always-avoidable "Christmas action movie" genre. Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Gremlins (to an extent), all these fall into the genre, and Reindeer Games is probably the best of them, for the simple fact that the fact it's Christmas plays a rather large part and there's nothing too out of the ordinary, like walking around barefoot with glass all over your feet for 2 hours, or two cops taking down an entire evil operation.
