Was Scooby Doo silly? Yes.
Was Scooby Doo full of dumb dialogue? Yes.
Was Scooby Doo cartoonishly unrealistic? Yes.
Should anybody have expected anything else from it? No!
The reason I say Scooby was a huge success was simple, my 8 year
old daughter laugher her ass off for 2 hours. Thats worth the price of
admisson. I also laughed, but it was more important that she did.
P.S. How on earth can you compare Bourne Identity with Scooby
Doo? Thats like comparing Momento with J&SBSB, or Mallrats with
Se7en, completely different ballparks my friend.
P.S. The movie did re-affirm my long held belief that Scrappy Doo is
pure evil!
P.P.P.S. Freddie Prinze Jr. was as horrible as usual and should die
horribly of throat cancer before uttering another line of dialogue
anywhere!
