To Put an End to this J-Lo mess, let me explain

I dont think anyone is angry for her being cast, just that she has such an incredibly pathetic body of work, and has not shown the level of talent required for a dialogue driven film like Kevin's. I'm not throwing blame at Kevin. Obviously he thinks there is something he can do with her, but i am extremely skeptical of her ability.

Much like Rosie PErez, i have never seen J-Lo in a movie that hasnt irritated me to the point of punching her in the throat.

I think she's a terrible actress, as is Rosie Perez, as is Penelope Cruz. Although you have to wonder why Kevin has written a movie about his experiences as a father, and cast the part of his WASP-y wife with a latino actress of a very limited range. Then again, he cast Affleck as himself. Denial aint just a river in Egypt my brother.

Then again, its merely a work of fiction. Still, Lopez is box office poison. Her last few films have done miserably at the box office (Angel Eyes and Enough), and she has a penchant for picking bad films. Maybe Jersey Girl will change all that.

So for the record, i'm not bitching about her being cast, just the fact that her body of work sucks and she hasnt shown any sort of talent other than making 14 year old boys want to masturbate. And can that really be classified as a talent?
