: i read hannibal and hated that. but loved the movie. red dragon got me really excited and i cant wait to see it in theaters but i really dont know the story. please no spoilers either :)

Hannibal is being interviewed by a police investigator who is trying to catch a serial killer.

Sound familiar? It's a lot like Silence of the Lambs, except the person interviewing him is the guy who caught him, so they have a lo of history to work through.

I liked the book much more than the movie.

I don't see how they can get this right w/Anthony Hopkins. He would have been a much younger man. The magic of the movies...

Ed Norton is a great choice for the dragon. The first attempt to do this book on film did not go very far into what made this character who he was.

Great ending in the book.
