and I thought Billy Bob was brilliant in Monster's Ball.
I don't see Leticia's character being able to kill her son - she was in love with weak, flawed characters - his father, Billy Bob.
Leticia accepted the compromises that came with them because of what she saw inside of them.
I had that same feeling toward the end of the movie - was she going to lose it when she found out who this guy was? I thought it was a very original choice by the writer that she didn't.
I'd give them both awards for this - that ending was a tough sell, but I believed it.
