OK, I haven't been on the message boards or website lately. I've been slacking off on my duties as a ViewAskew/Kevin Smith fan, college and life have a way of distracting you, but anyway....
So Kevin cast JLo in the new flick....okay. I'm personally not a big JLo fan, but I haven't really seen her in a movie role that she was made for the part. Most of the movies I've seen with JLo in them seem like any decent actress could have played the role. Kevin's roles in movies seem to be almost made for the actor that plays them, whether that's intentional or just good casting, kudos to Kevin. Ok, can't believe I actually used the word "kudos" in a sentence but back to my point. I think Kevin has pretty much gotten the respect he deserves and has a multitude of actresses to choose from to play just about any role. If he feels Jennifer Lopez is the best choice for this role, I'm sure its with good reason. I'm pretty sure he doesn't just draw names out of a hat when it comes to casting. Give the man the benefit of the doubt, he hasn't failed us yet.
So now that that's all out of the way, can't we all just hold hands, sing around the campfire and be friends again?
