There are levels of it, though. I'm saying as a rule, of course, because there are exceptions. If somebody posts intelligently about something that's been discussed, they don't get yelled at. But if people post a stupid crappy question that's been asked repeatedly, answered, and filed away neatly in the summaries which posters are supposed to read before they come on, then there's certainly legitimate reason to get on their ass about it, especially if they then respond by saying "Fuck you! I just want an answer, I don't want to have to read a bunch of stuff to find an answer." I'm not speaking of you specifically, but, rather, the general type of person who actually gets people to yell at them.

Well, that's letting them win, isn't it? If you truly believe that your behavior is right, then keep doing it. If it inspires a bunch of people to get pissed off and you maintain your cool, then you're doing okay. If you start insulting people, then that's certainly not going to get them back.
