He was most likely married to Magdelaine. Jewish law of the time stated that to become a rabbi (which is what he was) you MUST be married. Also all men had to be married by a certian age. Many historical reports stated that Jesus was seen to kiss Mary Magdelaine about the face, a behaviour most uncommon unless between a married couple.
