Faith is a powerful thing.

Having faith in someone, in a relationship, i.e. knowing someone may be cheating or could be, but trusting in them... not becoming overcome w/ jealosy or selfrighteous accusation.

having faith in a system that hasn't proven itself yet, or has had flaws, like for instance the american judicial system, even tho. its flawed that in principle, you support it, you shape your life in multitudes of ways to defend it, etc.

faith in an ideal, in a religion, a person, in God, is an assertive act by either something as simple as holding on to hope when everyone else says to give up, or something more agressive as taking an actual stand for something, going out and doing something, w/ your life.

you're defined by your actions and not your words.

its where you don't just read it in a pamphlet and say, i beleive, but where you actually do something about.

faith is when you move past your own rhetoric and give substance, and conviction to the ideas you claim to beleive in.
