: Right, didn't think so. Alright, before the Goo Goo Dools, there was the infinitely superior band, The Replacements. The Replacements refined what is often called "power pop", ie-supremely catchy rock and roll. The band that pretty much started "power pop" was Big Star, and they were fronted by a madman of a genius named Alex Chilton. To make things come full circle, The Replacements released a song called "Alex Chilton", and my initial subject line is the first line of the chorus of that song. No bi mystery, it's just been stuck in my head all day and I had to get it out of my system...
