What can I say, I was 16, I liked the tortured bad boy thing. Reznor hasn't made an original move in years, though, not since the Downward Spiral. Plus Bowie just blew him away in concert. It was before Bowie had his big comeback (which yes, we do have to give Trent some props for). Trent was like thrashing and whining his way through the set and then all these little kids left. Bowie took one step on stage with his crazy band of Hindus, gypsies and freaks -- wearing a snakeskin trenchcoat. He gave one badass head nod, sang the Man Who Sold the World without even moving, and it was alllll over.
