Fletch is one of my favourite movies and to take the crown of casting from Mr Chase would be a cardinal sin (especially if its given to Ben Affleck!! no offence Ben, Phantoms was the bomb! Ha ha!) He brought completeness to the role of the bungling/sarcastic/P.I. of many disguises. Is it wise to possibly spoil a timeless classic that can still be played today with the likes of (you know as well as me), Weird Science, The Breakfast Club, Trains, Planes and many of the other fine teenage/bratpack/comedy movies of the Mid Eighties?
: Think carefully (I know this isnt for me to preach) about doing this project. You have your own brand of humour that relates to the past masters of comedy (John Hughes for example) Jesus, even I thought there was a Shermer in Illonie (but i cant spell it!!)

: Please however keep Jay and Silent Bob in the frame, as they are characters that cannot be matched (and you wouldnt like them to be copied by someone else??)
