...most American sports require alcohol to make them entertaining (aside from hockey, but that's Canadian, really, and after about ten minutes of back-and forth action, basketball gets pretty tedious) whilst the majority of British sports are entertaining without a cold one (apart from cricket, but that's not really a sport - more of a past-time, like fishing, or golf).


: I completely LOATHE baseball. I can hit a ball with my friends, but watching it on TV or in a ball park is death. I saw Yankees at the Mets in 2000 regular season, and after 5 innings I was all "OK, so that's a baseball game."

: I like golf now too... I got on the course this weekend. I felt so proud that I was going to bogey a par 5... then I 10-putted.
