This is for those of us who are getting to be older ....

We drank and we partied,
In the morning we hung,
We bought lingere,
And fought to stay young.

Now if we party,
its babies or weddings,
No more lingere,
Just sensible bedding.

No longer do we stumble,
Like drunken young fools,
We pay mortgages and taxes,
And but Kitchen tools.

the hangovers hurt,
much more than before,
and it is way before midnight,
when we lock our doors.

So when we look back,
on our days filled with fun,
we remember them fondly,
Cuase they are over and done...
