As a former grunge, I loved the site of skateboarders around the downtown art. Since you've been in that field, you probably know how much they were beloved by the civic leaders. Seems crazy - the only people there, and they were constantly kicked out.
Seems like it could be a positive thing to have a piece of art that people could actually interact with.
Just a silly thought.
