whatever you do...do not get one that is a 3 or 5 disc changer....it is my suggestion that you use your dvd to play dvd's and not as a stero...and don't buy the service plan at best buy or wherever, those are rip offs....your credit card will most likely cover the dvd for a year...the other thing is to make sure you can hook the dvd to your tv, not all tvs are dvd compatible....
You need to have the yellow, red and white RCA inputs.....or S cable if you have a high tech tv...
If you don't have the yellow red and white...then you need to buy a converter that costs 50 bucks....and reduces quality....my tv wasn't that old but still wasn't dvd compatible....
