I live in Spokane, WA, which isn't very a very popular site for filming flicks.. But I'll do a few connections I have, which aren't many.;)
01. I met Zacahary Ty Brian (The oldest kid on Home Improvement) and got a picture and an autograph. He was pretty nice. He came here for a car show thing.
02. Charlie Ryan. He was a pretty famous songwriter. He wrote the song that goes, "Hey son, you're gonna drive me to drinkin' if you don't stop driving that HOT. ROD. LINCOLN." He lives in a little town right outside of Spokane. He is the nicest old man ever. The first connection I have with him, is that when I was really young, like 8 or 9, we lived in an apartment building, and the manager knew him. He actually pulled up in one of his Hot Rods and my mom made me run out and get his autograph.:) The other way is that one of the drunks my mom knows who hang out at the bars is his son.
03. (Not a DIRECT connection.) When my grandma was a teenager, she lived in Apache Junction, AZ, where my great grandpa was the sherrif. Well, Kurt Russell was a "child actor" then and was filming a western movie there. They dated for awhile, went horse back riding.;) She won't tell me if she kissed him or not.
04. They filmed Dant'e's Peak in a couple little towns in Idaho. Mullen and Wallace. My family grew up in these towns and one of my uncles still lived there. He saw Pierce Brosnan (I think) a few times. They are REALLY small towns.
05. They filmed "Benny and Joon" here, and Aidin Quinn came into Hastings and bought books from my aunt.:)
06. Hopefully, soon, Kevin Smith / The Jersey Girl gang.;)
