Also there is an assistant director program in L.A. I don't really know where it is in L.A. I could probably find out. And the thing about this is that you have to take several tests. These tests are both intelligence tests and personality tests. Unfortunately the tests are suppose to be extremely difficult, but if you get accepted than you are trained immediately. Or besides that you could move to a part of the country that has more filmmaking than most places (try someplace in Canada) and just see if you can do some set work.
