: : From what I know about writing, sometimes when you get so invested in a character, they almost seem to take on a life of their own and the writer isn't so much making up what happens to the character as they are just writing it down. I find a gay Banky believable, but that's just me. Besides Hooper and Banky had great comedic chemistry in Chasing Amy and I think a sense of humor is key to most good relationships
