No, I hated X-Men a lot, but I really enjoyed Spider Man. The X-Men was so comercialized and there was just a bunch of freaks, and from what I remember, there were too many characters to make it good. In Spider Man, a much more interesting story and character, there was Peter, MJ, His Friend (The name is on the type of my keyboard...), Peter's family, and the Goblin, so we could have the "emotional attachments" to those characters. If you hated X-Men's genre, than you'd hate SpiderMan, but if you just thought the movie was lame, than you should give the Spider a chance.
